Privacy Policy
First Chevron (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it when you use the First Chevron platform (the “Service”).

2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account Information
- Operator account email and credentials used to access the dashboard.
- Billing information, where applicable, is collected and processed by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
2.2 Usage & Platform Data
- Publish history: timestamp, account, media type, success or error.
- Content you upload or queue (videos, images, captions) processed solely to deliver the Service. Files are removed from our hosts within 24 hours of a successful publish.
- Platform analytics: pages visited, features accessed, session duration, device/browser type, IP address.

- Emails or messages you send to our support team.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Service delivery — to provide, operate, and maintain First Chevron.
- Usage tracking — to record publish history for dispute resolution and rate-limit accounting.
- Fraud prevention & legal compliance — to detect, investigate, and prevent abuse.
- Customer support — to respond to inquiries and resolve issues.
- Product improvement — to analyze aggregated, anonymized usage patterns. We do not use your specific content to train AI models.
- Legal obligations — to comply with applicable laws, court orders, and regulatory requirements.
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information with:
- Payment processors — if and when we begin charging for the Service, payment is handled by a third-party processor under their privacy terms.
- Infrastructure providers — cloud hosting, database, and CDN services under confidentiality obligations.
- Legal & regulatory authorities — when required by law, subpoena, or to protect Company’s legal rights.
- Business transfers — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction.
5. Social Platform Integrations
5.1 Meta (Instagram & Facebook)
When you connect an Instagram account to First Chevron, we use the Instagram API with Instagram Login to enable the following functionality:
- Publishing Reels, images, videos, stories and carousels to your connected Instagram Business or Creator account via the Instagram Content Publishing API.
- Reading basic profile information (account name, profile picture, account ID) to display within the First Chevron dashboard.
- Accessing publishing status and media identifiers returned by the API after content is posted.
Data we collect via Meta APIs:
- OAuth access tokens required to act on your behalf. These are encrypted at rest and never shared with third parties.
- Instagram account identifiers and user IDs necessary for API calls.
- Publishing status and media IDs returned by the API.
How we use Meta data: Solely to provide the content publishing features you have enabled. We do not sell or share your Meta-derived data with any party other than Meta itself (as required by the API). We do not use this data to target advertising.
Meta’s policies: Your use of connected Meta accounts is also subject to Meta’s Terms of Service and Meta’s Privacy Policy. We comply with Meta’s Platform Terms and Developer Policies.
Revoking access: You can disconnect your Instagram account at any time from your First Chevron dashboard, or revoke First Chevron’s access directly via your Instagram account settings under “Apps and Websites.” Upon revocation, we will cease all API calls on your behalf and delete your access tokens within 30 days.

6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for the duration of your subscription and for a period of 5 years after account closure to comply with financial recordkeeping obligations and to defend against potential legal claims. Publish-history logs are retained for a minimum of 3 years. Social platform access tokens are deleted within 30 days of account disconnection or account closure. You may request deletion of your personal data subject to the exceptions below.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@firstchevron.com. We will respond within 30 days. Note that we may be legally required to retain certain data (e.g., transaction records) even after a deletion request. 8. Cookies & Tracking
We use essential cookies required for the Service to function (e.g., authentication sessions) and analytics cookies to understand aggregate usage. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect Service functionality.
9. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and regular security reviews. Social platform OAuth tokens are stored encrypted. However, no system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
The Service is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 18. If we become aware of such collection, we will delete it promptly.
11. International Transfers
Your data may be processed in the United States and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. By using the Service, you consent to such transfers. We take reasonable steps to ensure adequate data protection in all jurisdictions where your data is processed.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes via email or prominent notice on the Site at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
